Meowri had teased a “playboy bunny cocktail stream” on social media, where she intended to wear a bunny suit. However, shortly after starting the stream, she was removed from Twitch. She took to Twitter to inform her followers of the ban, expressing her intention to appeal. The ban was revealed to be a 24-hour suspension, with her account scheduled to be reinstated on April 11.
Twitch deemed the bunny suit as “inappropriate attire” for the stream, a decision that sparked debate on Twitter. Some users pointed out that other streamers had worn similar attire without facing consequences. Meowri speculated that some viewers might have maliciously reported her stream, leading to the ban.
Other users shared similar experiences, including internet personality Holly Wolf, who claimed she was banned from Twitch for simply having a bunny suit in her profile picture. Despite the controversy, Meowri’s Twitch account remains disabled as of now, but there’s hope that her appeal will lead to a swift reinstatement, potentially before April 11.
